Clubvibes.com was founded in 1999 by Joel Weinmaster when he and some friends recognized the need for an online nightlife community. Clubvibes launched in May of 1999 as an HTML based nightclub reviews and listings site. In 2000, Clubvibes was developed into a database driven website, similar to what you see today, where nightclub owners and managers could login themselves and update their venue's information in real time. Complementing this information with an online community sparked a movement that fueled growth of Clubvibes across North America. Today, Clubvibes is a premier nightlife destination on the web, offering venue information, event listings, guestlists, photos and tickets to venues around the world. The company plans to continue to grow their product offering and reach around the world.

As of October 16, 2012, Clubvibes is now under ownership of MyZone Media Inc.
