Lushlife is the new dance night on Fridays at Club DWNTWN in Phoenix. Resident DJs R055 and Kathryn play your favorite dance rock, post punk, britpop, indie and new wave songs from 10pm to 3:30am. Cover charge is $6 for lushlife, or, for $10, you can get a dual admission to lushlife and the gothic-industrial dance night Tranzylvania, next door at Palazzo. DJ R055 (Ross) has always loved music and has been a local club DJ since
1997. Before that, he was a radio DJ on local legend AM station KUKQ. He has
had long-running nights at various venues such as the Nile Theater, Atomic
Cafe, and the Mason Jar. After taking a break from the club scene, he's
energized and ready to get back into the weekly fun.
DJ Kathryn makes her DJing debut at "lushlife". In her career as an Art
Director, she's developed a great sense of aesthetics and what works to
please the eyes and the ears. She's the perfect hostess for this weekly
party. Join her and Ross every Friday night at "lushlife"!
