The BLACK V Fashion Event presents annually, collections inspired by the beauty and chic mood of BLACK to the fashion scene in San Francisco.
This annual event sets itself as a major opportunity for fashion industry professionals to connect and keep the fashion zeitgeist alive in San Francisco through the use of multi-media platform and technology.
A growing number of the fashion industry participates each year in which: Designers; Stylists; Models; Fashion and Style Bloggers; Photographers; Editors; and more than 300 fashion enthusiasts have shown their support.
Fashion for Fashion:
Proceeds from BLACK V Fashion Event will benefit the Fashion Show Production Class at City College of San Francisco. The Foundation of City College is a (501c3) non-profit organization.
The BLACK V Fashion Event has featured 11 San Francisco Local Designers in 2011 (Jay Sario, Dahae Kim, Gail Shrive, LHC Couture, Menk, Ken Chen SF, Phuong My, Kaatje, Guzel, Eugene Huang, and Cari Borja) and 7 SF Designers when it started in 2010 (Bacca Da Silva, Dcepcion, Alexandria Von Bromssen, Tamo Design, Terrance Yu, Kaatje, and Mike Sg).
2012 BLACK V Designers Lineup will include: Acta Non Verba, Cari Borja, Daniel Sudar, d'Homme by Dahae Kim, Gail B Shrive, Kate Knuvelder, Ken Chen San Francisco, and Zoe Hong.
BLACK V Fashion Event, now in its third year, has been voted 2011 Best Fashion Event of the Year by its peers and colleagues.
