THE BLIZZARD (ARMADA MUSIC)

The Norwegian duo The Blizzard consists of dj and producer Lars Nyheim & composer and keyboardplayer Tore Vatle Jensen. They crashed into the scene in 2007 with their enchanting and mysterious debut single "Kalopsia". Ever since the duo hasn't looked back.

What to expect from a The Blizzard dj set: A funky and melodic blend of progressive house and trance, adding a bit of electro here and there. Lars from The Blizzard loves playing around with midicontrollers, spicing up his set with cool toys like the Ipad, his phone, midifighters and even Nintendo Wii controllers.

2011 turned out to be a great year for the duo. Their singles "My Inner Island" (feat. Omnia) and "Everything About You" (feat. Yuri Kane & Relyk) got top support across the globe from artists like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Andy Moor and Gareth Emery to name a few. Likewise did their their two remixes for Armin van Buuren tracks "Breathe In Deep" (feat. Fiora) and "Take A Moment" (feat. Winter Kills) and their collab remix with Omnia of Boom Jinx's "Phoenix From The Flames" (feat. Justine Suissa).

The Blizzard are starting out 2012 in a usual way. For the 6th year in a row they provide a hot new track for Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance compilation. "Piercing The Fog" is their next track to be released on Armada. Gigs are as we speak coming up in Portland, Hollywood, Seattle, San Diego (USA) and of course not to mention ASOT550 in Den Bosch (Holland).
