Cinco de Mayo Margarita Competition

   
This event is taking place at The Charles Bar. This event will feature Pop/Top 40, Club Hits music playing.
Spectators
It's Cinco de Mayo and what better way to celebrate then with a good old fashioned margarita making competition! Come cheer on your favorite bartender while sipping on some Don Julio margaritas for just $6.25. Host Johnny Omega will be giving out swag and playing your favorite tunes to keep the party jumping!

Bartenders
Calling all bartenders! It’s time to test your skills and show us what you’ve got! In celebration of Cinco de Mayo we have partnered with Don Julio Tequila to search out the best margarita recipe we can find. Compete against the top bartenders in Vancouver for a chance to win a $500 Visa Gift Card and of course, bragging rights.

Judging
Judging will be decided by a panel of five industry experts and based on a number of factors including creativity, taste, originality and presentation. Breakdown as follows:
Presentation /5
Appearance /5
Creativity /5
Taste /10

Prizes
The winner will be awarded a $500 Visa Gift Card. In addition, all entrants will receive a gift basket and swag from Don Julio just for participating.
