Aww, thanks Juice.
Make sure you stop by my place while I am MIA. I could use a nice girl with nice writing that dosen't mind dictation for my Biology class I'll be missing.

i hear u Marko......quite a few years back when i was working in contruction finishing a set of concrete steps i fell backwards off the third floor ( 30 feet ),landing on the concrete parking lot, 2 feet from the rebar sticking out of the concrete parking lot...didn't get knocked out, managed to climb up 2 sets of stairs in shock, kicking a tool shed over and trowing tools around (from what the other workers told me ...later on)before passing out and waking up in the first aid room......had 3 badly dislocated disks on my spine, wich took about 8 months of painfull physio at times, before i was back to 100%...doctors told me that besides a lot of luck, and having a bit of muscle mass ,helped with the injuries not being a lot worse.Like yourself i consider myself very lucky.....i guess it wasn't my time to go yet....lol
best of luck with your surgery ......hope everything works out

Yeah it's amazing how time can fly when you are goign through some type of tramatic event. 8 months goes by in no time at all. In December its going to be a year and a half.
It's nice to know that you other guys have recovered from your accidents. We are pretty luck to live in a country where we have the medical resources available to get peiced back together.
Sometimes when I start feeling sorry that I don't have the same movement that I had before I think about this guy i met in physio. He got his arm caught in an assembly belt and it almost ripped his arm off...
It dosen't worrk 100% but he says he is so happy for what movement he does have and so thankful for the surgeons that aided him. He says if he ws in africa and the same accident happened they would have just amputated his arm.
No arm, no WCB, no physio, no nothing. Just kick him out of the hospital to beg on the street.

If I die during surgery I hereby pass all my login and posting credits over to thephoenix.
My surgery is at a private clinic so I wont be taking up any bedspace.
I wish I could take the LBD into surgery with me. My aunt smuggled her into VGH when I was there. That was good times.
