The cream shadows are wonderful.
They don't really crease.
The multiples are beautiful highlighters but I'm not sure exactly how long they last on the face. I don't wear them that much. I use it for when I need a 5 second makeup job. Swipe to the eyes, lips, and cheeks.

Last NARS stuff I got was a treat from another cvr.
I'm not allowed to buy any for awhile.
But yeah-- I had my addiction and JASON WAS MY PUSHER.
I quit when I started thinking... how many colours do I really need???

For me Nars is more an obsession then anything. Mac can be cheaper with relatively the same colours..but I think Nars is the innovator and trend starter in the cosmetics industry. Look at orgasm blush..how many copies are out there of that product? what about Rated R...? Mac started to promote the Bitter and Electric Eel combo to get that look. Nars might be more expensive, but for me it's worth it because you get exciting, unique colour combinations. That being said, I love Mac !!!!!!!!!!too..but sometimes their colours get boring...

Yeah there's a lot of copies of Orgasm, that's true, so I can appreciate them for being a trend-setter in that aspect. I just think their products are too expensive when I can get similar results for a lot cheaper. I may buy some of their stuff again in the future when I have more money, but when I was at Holt's a few weeks ago I looked at their counter and nothing really caught my eye. I guess it's just personal preference.

but honestly..when u think about it
a nars DUO is 32 dollars
2 mac shadows cost around the same...
mac blush is 16 bucks?
nars blush is 25 bucks...
hmmmm
is there really a big difference?

A MAC blush is $22 CAD, but the Nars blush is $25 US...so it's closer to $28 CAD I think...and I think they cost more than that at Holt's, I called once to ask.
The duos are also less product than individual MAC pots I believe.

I am such a geek.
MAC pot = 1.5 g
Nars Duo = 4 g
MAC blush = 6 g
Nars blush = 4.5 g

Nars blush at Holts is $29 before taxes.
I forget what the duos cost.

Yeah it's definitely personal preference.
It's like how people say NYX shadows are comparable to MAC and half the price yet people will still buy MAC.

The other thing I like about NARS is that their packaging is THE BEST.
You can drop stuff without it cracking.
I WANT the Nars book very badly.

^ I bought the last one at Holts a couple months ago..apparently they FLY off the shelves. Im sure Holts has move now,,,,u can always get it on amazon. It's probably better then the Kevyn Aucoin books cuz he lists what he uses, and his looks are ALL so spectacular

But isn't drugstore.com an American company? Won't you get duty charges if it's shipped to Canada?
