ok....so no purple or red undertones. i luv the effect of blue-black hair but it just fades so darn fast.

I've done my own and had it professionally done, both fade. Honestly though if you want it blackest black get any die with the bluish or purpleish undertones and you'll get the color you want. Just remember too with at home dyes you get what you pay for, so get the most expensive one.

Jet black hair is gorgeous.

Although Box of Rocks did something to her hair that makes it look just a tiny bit different, not jet black. Maybe she will reveal what she did.

i love jet black hair, and trust me ive used almost every product out there... mmmgood is right dont use the products with the purple/reddy undertones... it fades
i now use FUDGE black hair product and my hair turned out a nice gothy black colour....thats what wanted! but it does kind if wash out but it isnt as harmful to your hair as permanent dye is... so try that if you want... but watch out because u have to use a good shampoo and conditioner so the colour wont rinse out and onto your clothes(especially white )
