Nite didnt go as I would have liked :S Had an anchor around my leg I had to deal with!! Last time I do any favors!! Friday night top 5!!!
1. Commander Tom - Attention (Steve Murano mix)
- Anything Murano touches these days is gold. I first heard his rework of Benassi`s Satisfaction when I was playing in the Caribbean, from there its been uphill. He`s remixed the likes of N&K, Safri Duo & ATB but don`t let the mainstream names fool you, he's got a knack for creating sick builds with quality Amens!!! *Worth a look is his rework of The Shrink - White world.
2. Laurent Konrad - Haunted
- Following up his "Rock U" success this track is pretty tight as any mix is a keeper. Has that nice dirty filter sound that will keep the fists pumping. Pretty vocal for the most part not quite like how his other track does it, but none the less driving you from your seat to the floor.
3. Reza - Soul solution
- A great mainstream funker, nothing complex as simplicity is key. Couple it with an Al Pacino voice over and what you have is a bad bad track.
4.Tom de Neef vs Mojolators - Sunset Boulevard (Tom de Neef Remix)
- I haven`t heard much from him since he remixed Sanchez's another chance. But considering how much this track bangs I`d be stupid to pass on him the next time I see him in a pile. Bumping and jumping, maybe a little too housey for some, but this is a great party starter.
5. Dido - Sand in my shoes (Above and Beyond mix)
Generally I don`t touch trance like this in a club, but!!!!!!! This track is an exception. Its lush and a pure peak timer and the builds aren`t that long so you don`t have to worry about killing the dancefloor. Its hit or miss with the crowd depedning what you set it up with but done right this one is a creamer!!!
Off the radar
- Tim Deluxe's own remix of him and Ben Onono's Choose something like a star. Its deep and a lil proggy, but the first build when mixing is a grinder. Its been out there for a while, but again another track I neglected at first that has grown on me.
And of course Red Kult - Call me, but really I don`t need to add that one...
