THE DRESSES, JEWELS, CITY WERE EXQUISITE......HOWEVER I THINK THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LESS NEW YORK INFLUENCE...AND MORE EURO CITY INFLUENCE ...MAYBE A BIT MORE OF PARIS.....IN THE CREATION OF THE CITY FOR THIS MINI FILM...

WHY?? BECAUSE PARIS IS THE ULTIMATE "MODERN" CITY....HAUSMANN SET IT UP PERFECTALLY AS THE ULTIMATE MODERN CITY ....SOCIETY OF THE SPECTACLE .....AND CHANEL IS CLASSIC PARISIAN CHIC AT ITS FINEST....

WHEN WATCHING THE MAKING OF IT ....I DIDNT EXPECT THE FINAL PRODUCT TO BE THAT FLASH FAST (DESPITE THE FACT I ALREADY KNEW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE VERY SHORT)

NICOLE SHOULD NOT HAVE SPOKEN AT ALL IN THE FILM.. ... IT DIDNT SOUND RIGHT ....MADE IT LOOK LIKE A PREVIEW AD FOR A FILM......ALTHOUGH THE MIN FILM AS A WHOLE REMINDED ME OF SOME EARLY ADS IVE SEEN I.E OF GITANES CIGARTTES ETC OF HOW THEY WOULD ORIGINALLY MAKE ADS ....

THE CHANEL LOGO IS UNBEATABLE





PS LOU DOILLON WOULD HAVE BEEN TRS CHIC & SUPER SEXXXXY FOR THIS AD...ESP WITH THE MATCHING BRUNETTE GUY ACTOR ....

i didnt say there was anything wrong with nicole kidman... i just think she is wrong for Chanel... i would like to see a European goddess do it personally... dark long hair, gorgeous olive skin.... thats just my opinion!
