You know why nobody likes hippies? Because they don't make any sense. You raise chicken to eat it, then they all storm you screaming "You can't do this, they are just like us!" and "You don't have rights to kill them!". Next thing you know hippies will be protesting cutting down X-mas tree saying "Trees have feelings too". What a load of crap.
And trying to compare treating chicken and treating mentally handicapped peope deserves a slap in a face and some acid in your brain. Seriously, are you saying this for real?

agreed
if anyone knows a better way to supply billions of billions of chickens to the masses more efficiently let them do itand all the power to ya.
otherwise its a chicken
the only step they forgot to throw in was
dun dun duuuuuuuuuuu
"the carcassas of the animals are later packeged in uncomfortable containers not very well suited for a coffin and later ripped from there final resting place and plunged into scaulding hot grease"
there are millions dying of aids starvation and other international tragedies
set your priorities ppl
when you eat a chicken wing the only thought goin thru your head is what kind of beer to have
its called the food chain

That's a very convenient position. Actually caring about people doesn't prevent you from caring about forests or chickens or anything else. You just want to justify not caring.

i agree with truthmorales... calling someone a hypocrite isn't helping anything, there are many causes out there, if you don't believe in this one, move on and try to be a useful part of society by supporting an environmental cause.
i believe all living creatures should be given meaning, what if that same factory had a million cats or dogs being brutalized with broken legs and such in it for human consumption? what makes one animal more suitable for torture than another? i understand that these creatures (chickens) are bred for human consumption, but does that make it ok to basically torture them in the mean time?

quiet long white socks man. people who have seen you post on this site enough know how funny and hypocritical your comment is.

There are so many important issues out there. Being concerned about one doesn't disable you from another. Instead of dissing someone for caribng about chickens you should do something about a cause you care about instead of callign someone else a hypocrite. We all do things that hurt the earth. Do something to help instead of making fun of people who do something.
This is the first time that TruthMorales has said something that I fully agree with.

the sad thing is they eat dogs and distant relatives of cats in asia.
why is this sad?
SARS is due to some Asian person eating civet meat.
Dogs are so cute.
But the main reason is developed nations take a lot of Asia's resources and leave a lot of people destitute as a result.
and here we're livid over the way chickens are produced into KFC.
check out the factories they are in in surrey and up the valley. go inside one and smell it. breathe deeply. then go let the chickens loose before the cops catch you. i dare you.

i dare you to stay on topic
the point is that no living thing should be treated badly; chickens or otherwise. i'm not a supporter of animal cruelty.

I dare you to sell your rims and donate the money to save chickens.
Get your own life straight before you become an advocate for everyone else!!

but here's a closeup of one of the rims for you to enjoy
