Ughhhhhhhh, Revlon Colorstay foundation . . . I used to wear it in high school, and it was just a thick, goopy mask. ALSO, it just reeked of alcohol . . . I always felt queasy if I put it on when hungover.

Any cream eyeshadow is awful
Physicians Formula bronzer.............STREAKY!!!
ALL MAC makeup is CRAPOLA........such a hype over such crap quality........eyeshadows dont go on smoothly, lip gloss is too sticky, mascara is clumpy, nail polish gets chunky after like 2 months. JUNK!!
Benefit lip gloss is horrid......stinks and no shine at all
Maybelline lip gloss is HORRID......no shine at all
Coppertone self tanner (used it once in a pinch).......turned me orange
Chanel Glossimers lip gloss............CRAP!! stained my lips bright pink for like 3 days
Chanel lip smoother........CRAP! gave me a rash and smelled awful
JLo Glow perfume...........made me barf.
Revlon Outrageous shampoo.......smell made me barf

i used the shoppers drug mart line of body scrubs and lotion.
bad idea.
i had a savage rash all over my body.
it smelt really good though.
like nut and butter something...
mmm good smelling rash

Johnson & Johnson 5.5 Face Wash - Dried my skin out in a major way. A friend tried it too and she said the same.

The cool effects stuff....the reason it stings is the ingredient that gives that 'cooling' sensation, sometimes menthol! Makes it burn or sting.
HATED:
almay nearly naked - messy and poor colours
rusk shampoo and conditioners - didn't clean my hair, the cond. dried out my hair
L'oreal color expert shampoo conditioner - made my dyed red hair fade sooooooo much faster.
biore cleansing cloths - too drying on skin, leaves residue, fine in a pinch tho!
and I know EVERYONE raves about Maybelline Great Lash (in that pink tube). my sister and I absolutely detest this, it flakes, clumps, doesn't make your lashes look longer or separated or anything. We prefer Full and Soft.

Chanel instant lash mascara - waste of money
Didn't make my eyelashes longer or thicker, just made them darker

Great Lash is overrated...but it's ok for light haired people who just want to darken their lashes....not lengthen or thicken.

The pH level in good Salon brands is equal to your hair's (or as equal as it can me)... whereas cheap shampoo & conditioners are not. The neutral pH value is 7,
while values below are more acidic (towards a car battery) and
values above 7 more basic (towards dish soap).
That's fine and dandy....but considering that the WATER that we rinse our hair with, here in the GVRD at least, is often well off neutral---does it really matter?

I agree with whoever said Great Lash (in the pink and green tube) sucks..........I HATE this stuff as well............It doesnt thicken or lengthen.........

Citre Shine shampoos are sad. They leave your hair soft but super limp, doesn't matter what you do to it.
That pink and green mascara is nasty, it was so hard to get off, even with makeup remover, it was like glue on my lashes.
I agree that MAC glosses are too think, I hate that my hair gets stuck in it, then gets clumpy in my hair.

Herbal Essence shampoo/conditioner.. tried a sample of this years ago and it left my hair extremely dry and tangled
Clean & Clear oil control lotion.. made my skin feel gross and greasy by midday
Dove facial cleansing cloths.. dried out my skin
MAC select cover-up... NOT at all a heavy-duty concealer.. only effective for very sheer coverage
Cover Girl cream shadow pencils.. application is CRAP
Skintimate shave gel (agree with whipgirl on this one)

Agreed on Skintimate Shave Gel and Herbal Essences. It dried out my hair and made my scalp itch from all the fragrance. And Gilette just foams much nicer and you use a lot less, so it actually lasts longer, making the price difference irrelevant.

oh, and why does anyone use drug store shampoos & conditioners? not good at all for your hair. salon may be more expensive but it's better for your hair.
It's called marketing.
Drug Store brands spend too much money into their advertisements and not enough into the actual product.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion - BURNS skin! ick.
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion clogs pores too.
MAC powder shadows crease within three/four hours.
Body Shop self tanner SUX.
