Yup, 29 and I still get ID'd. I love it.

You, on the other hand, are still a Clown. Cuz if you weren't a clown, you'd know exactly what Sean was saying that Rob Rizk plays house music as well. Dumbass.

Think before you post stupid crap.

I love how he edited his reply to my post 5 times. Apparantly, from a grainy picture I have a shaved eyebrow, I'm deathly white and have tons of acne.

Hey Steve-o, I guess your plan is to have everyone ostracize you, eh? Or maybe that's already happened. I'm sure Scott and Scott are thrilled to see you giving them props.

Makes me so much better about moving away to school when I see drama like this guy has created. Back to the books I go...

"Please.

An disgrace to nightlife wordwide yet alone in our own city.

If I had not witnessed this first hand then I could not comment. But I have."

i dont do coke,i dont know or care who you are.do you think hip hop nights have less drugs???man you are a deluded little tool.ive played the best clubs all over the world, and vancouver is really wicked for some good underground house.
you have no idea what you are talking about.
maybe you just go to the wrong parties,
try going to deepen on a saturday at the lotus,
or if you like housey stuff check out todds night at bar none.what you are doing is comparable to basing your opinion of comedy from watching everybody loves raymond..

First off,

There is more drama on this thread than watching Melrose place, what da hella! I thought this thread was about the best DJ of 2004. bang head

Jeepers! let the names roll, whether you like Hip Hop, Gangstar Rap, House, Chicago House, Tech House, Progressive, Tribal, Disco House, Breaks, Downtempo, Acid Jazz, Drum 'n' Bass, Dancehall, Disco, Trip Hop, Acid House, Broken Beat, Leftfield, Jungle, Two Step, Electro, Trance, Handbag, Speed Garage, Epic House, Hip House, Techno, Gabber, Hardcore, Euro Dance, Top 40, Acid Trance, Electronica, East Coast Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, blah blah blah,,,I can keep on going! Honestly, I think you should all name your best DJ for these Genre's!

But one thing that all these genre's have in common, is that it's all recorded by a microphone and a sequencer...They all have their place in the history of electronic music...whether it's 40 BPM's or 150 BPM's

There is an abundance of great talent in this city, I remember the time when I use to listen to the beat 94.5 when I first came to this city, getting a dose of some real home grown DJ talents of Hip Hop culture, Ali Baba and crew!

What I am really trying to say is that: Vancouver rocks in all spectrums of music! And it is growing!

So praise your favourites! Praise da LORD! Hallelujah!

Brothas and sistas, let's all get down to the funky sounds of the underground!!! big grin big grin big grin

Hip Hop - kemo, flip-out, j swing.
House - there's too many to name
But one dj that stood out for me was Dj Golden Boy, although he spins Latin, in one year he did what no other latin dj has done ever. He brought latin music to the next level in our city, introduced reggeaton and was the first latin dj ever to be mixing live on the beat 94.5. He's not a big name like flip-out, j swing, kemo, Physic, or even gmanandrisk. But I have a strong feeling one day he will.
This is only my opinion !!
Dj Golden Boy if you read this... n-ough respect and you got my support.!

Billy the Kid:

bill has personally achieved a lot in '04, both in the field of mixing and producing. his mixes are technically flawless, and i look up to him immensely for all the help he's given me, for fielding my 1001 questions... and for being the best dj partner and supporter. music was and still is the solid foundation on which our friendship is based, i can't think of one without the other. i miss spinning with you, bill!!
one of those dj's that just sneaks in and blows everyone away. i also respect bill because he pretty much picks and chooses where he plays, where he feels the crowds will most appreciate his work. that's the attitude of an artist.

what sets bill apart from some others in his peer group is that you will never find any attitude or show-offy tactics with him, and those who know him will agree that he lets the music speak for itself, especially his own tracks, which i have witnessed crowds going off to, (they probably had no idea that they were in fact made by the dj that was spinning them) unless chad or i were running around telling everyone!! and the most recent one i heard "let's go dance" is absolutely wicked.
**edit**
just previewed another new track- thanks msn!!- whoo!
"what you waiting for- moody mix" (f. gwen stefani sample) ie yie! listen for it next time you hear billy and raise your hands for me!!!

best of luck in 2005, "NUMBA WON",
