My roomate and I are looking for a female to move in with us. We are boht non smokers and social drinkers. NO PETS. Im 25 and hes 22, and we are very affable roomates.
Address: 431 59 East Avenue and Main.
Rent: $450 (internet excluded).
3 bedroom upper level home.
1 full kitchen (new appliances)
1 bathroom (very clean)
Washer and Dryer
Backyard
Lots of street parking
Internet capable
Close to Superstore
Close to Langara
Close to major bus routes (20 mins from Downtown)
The House itself is an older home but has been rennovated with new appliances and general improvement to the interior. Its in a very quiet neighborhood, with a small quiet family living in the basement. The property is maintained by a gardener, and is on the upper east side (dont let the address fool you - its a good 'hood).
The cons of the house are that you have to share the bathroom and the kitchen, and there is no driveway parking.
I am looking for a roomie who is good natured, clean and can live with other people peacefully with no drama or 'games'. In other words mature people who'd like a good place to live. Smokers are welcome, but it must be done outside. No pets unfortunatly and definitly no heavy drug users.
Im an easy going mature male, drug and smoke free with clean living habits. I am respectful of my roomates and can live with other people easily.
My roomie is visiting from Australia and is a good roomie.

Do you need a damage deposit on top of the first month's rent? Also, the price you quoted includes internet, so can it be assumed that hydro is included as well?
I'm a friendly female who rarely smokes and who comes home drunk once in awhile on the weekends, but who otherwise needs rest from a long Europe treck anyway. I'm communal and a recluse in equal portions.
If I wouldn't have to come up with the $225 damage deposit on top of $450 in the same month I'm dealing with returning from my journey, I'd be very interested in meeting you guys and seeing if it would work out for us.
I'm so far planning to live in a private room in a hostel for feb so I can save money - blech.
