do you think that people who say they dont want kids really dont want them, most of the guys I know say they dont, but do you think thats just a front?

Not worth waiting around to find out if it is.... if you want kids, and they don't, move on (and visa versa). smile

WAY to many people stick around, hoping minds will change. They get all wrapped up in the person, fall in love, then many years later... look back with resentment, and regret.

I don't want kids.
And by that I mean....I do NOT want children. Why would you question that?? We don't question your desire to devote the rest of your life to a little being that will undoubtably break your heart, scare you to death, anger you beyond belief, and suck away any spare money you may ever have....is that a front????

I may change my mind at some point, but for now (and for the last decade), I have no desire to have children.

I was just wondering, cause my bf says "I dont want kids" but in the next breath will say " when I have kids" so I was just wondering if I can take the I dont want kids thing seriously

Well, how old is the boyfriend? If he is your age (your profile says you are 22), then perhaps he simply isn't comfortable discussing such serious topic right now?

I had the same problem with my ex. Eventually I realized that our relationship was based on "temporary fun" since we had no future.

Don't waste your time, you could possibly be watching your dream man walk by while your holding the hand of no future.

no I dont think its "just for fun" as you say, we live together and are planning our future together, I dont think wasting time would be the word for it...........I just dont know the word I am looking for

Dude. Of course you should take him seriously if you live together. However, if you doubt that there is future.. You should consider moving on.

Okay, well if you can live with the possibility that he doesn't want children, then stick with it.

But if you are 100% sure you want children, then just be prepared for heartache down the road...

I would say 85% of guys saying they dont.. really do.. but they think of kids as Entrapment. Their Stuck...

But hell if you liked the person before... dont get bored and make it interesting.. you cant rely on someone to be totally bubbly or whatever al lthe time..
