My boss and a large group of his colleages are going to Vancouver in mid April (for one week) for their annual corporate "treat".
There will be some meetings to attend during the weekdays, but they will have all evenings and a weekend free to do what they like around the city.
Because I am a vancouver native my boss keeps asking me what he and his pals should see and do... I can't think of very much since the weather wont be great at that time of year.. and none of these guys are particularily "outdoorsy".
What would you suggest?
There is about 50 of them in total. (though i am sure they wont all go out in one massive group)
here is a profile of my boss (I can only speak for him)
-middle aged
-business men execs.
-european (dutch)
-love dance music
-likes good food in large portions
-easy going
-has never spent time in North America
Oh, and keep in mind that all expenses will be paid for by their company.

Do you think Whistler will still be open in mid April? Hasn't all the rain ruined the ski season already?

Canada Place and Hotel Vancouver lounges for drinks.
Gotham , Cardero and such for lunches and dinners.

I suggested Blue Water Cafe to one of our US executives, and needless to say I have been his favourite Vancouver employee since.

^ I have. But I still want everyones personal favorite things.
Tourism Vancouver would probably not cover everything. Besides, nothing beats the advice from Vancouverites themselves.

I think she's asking some idea specific to that age range and profile...
50 business men usually like to relax.. enjoy ... maybe not PARTY but yeh.. stuff like golf, strippers, restaurants..
That's what a typical work trip is like for people in I know that fit that profile.

I'd say the day should go:

Dinner at Joe fortez
After dinner drinks at brandies
( Possibly swedish touch ) for the naughty executives.. LOL

If they go to Whistler in April, they can probably get their golfing in up there as well. Nicklaus North is a very nice course up there.
In town come courses they may want to check out are Northview, Westwood Plateau, Morgan Creek, Furry Creek, or Meadow Gardens.
