Many people seem to seek their whole life for that "special" someone but looking at statistics is all of it even worth it?

Recent studies indicate that 60% of married women and over 70% of married women will cheat on their spouse.

Estimates are that 1 out of every 6 married women will be raped by their own husbands.... and being a guy this isn't a bash against men, it's a bash against our whole f*cking worthless society.

Hypothetically, let's just say that you beat the oods, that both you and your partner have "true love" toward each other and stay faithful for years and years.. what are the odds that one of you is taken by serious diseases such as Alzheimer's, cancer or various other illnesses? In the end, the odds of you being alone are so unlikely that it gives people few incentives to be with just one person, to "settle down" and to be faithful.

It's why men become "players" and women become cat ladies.

Isn't it interesting that if you don't fit into societies arbitrary standards (for men this likely equates to being ripped, tall, relatively hairless except for on the head, rich and well hung and for women this equates with being thin, having a nice rack, and let's face it, being "easy"wink? Why do most people only search for such superficial standards?
