I am undecided on which car to buy.

I like them both.

Neither. Get either a Dodge with a smaller engine or a Chevrolet Canyon.

Dodge Engines are bad enough on gas when they aren't an R / T. Trust me, I had a Dakota before.

I only want either one of those two.

I dont want a dakota without the 5.9L

Dont want a chevy. Otherwise I'd get the Silverado SS

You already had a Jeep, why not go for the Dakota?

what difference is there between a 05 tj or a 95 tj that could possibly justify the 20000$ difference in price

i bet you dont even know which one is which...

Besides a '02 dakota RT is worth alot less then a '05 TJ

Get the Dakota then. They are fun to drive.

The difference is WARRANTY!

If i'm going to buy a Jeep it will be new! the dakota would be new too if they still made the R/T

thus the whole point of buying a NEW car.

and you think the warranty is worth 20000$? that vehicle is going to lose 20% of its value in 2 years... unless you make a ****load of money(100000 +/yr) and own property you would be stupid to do something like that.

R/T's suck- trust me I have one- The thing is such a pig on gas.

My truck is about 350 per tank and it costs around $85 to fill with 94 Grade.

I am selling it the minute Im back from Europe..........Mind you mines a 2000 so it could be different from the '02.

Actually R/T models keep their value well considering its a domestic!

I just sold my 1998 R/T for 15g's like a month ago!

They are great trucks IF u do NOT drive a lot!! F.UKIN GAS PIGS!!

The gas is what drove me to selling the beast!! I kind of miss it in a way, but im laughing at the gas pump now!!

*** I was filling that stupid thing up every 4 days!! terrible!

I think im leaning towards the Jeep. I currently spend roughly 80-90 bucks a week on gas driving a FOUR CYLINDER.

The R/T is nice but driving from New West to basically Horseshoe Bay everyday for work would rock my ass on gas even more so.
