Dispute the ticket. If it was a traffic cop that stopped you yer fuct cuz they make sure they never miss a court date. However if you happened to have been stopped by a regular rcmp officer there's a chance he might be busy on your court date with other business and wont show up to testify. If this happens you automatically win your case and your ticket is waived. best of luck.

that is true if the cop doesnt show up i will right but my win chance is the cop put wrong speeding offense number on ticket so i will win if the 146 6 looks like a 1 which it does

Chugs: RCMP now gets paid to go in to court for speeding tickets. which means they get 4hours paid time to do it. and a lot of them are doing it just for the extra money.
basically, dude, pay your fine. and dont be such a fu¢king idiot on the road.

^Actually, shmoove, a minor mistake once invalidated a ticket I disputed. The JP couldn't read the constable's writing, so he called me up to the front, showed me the ticket, and asked me, "does that say 13th street or 18th street?"
"Why, I'm not sure," I responded, and he threw out the ticket.
So Blondie, I would dispute it if I was you.

i know that u can win a ticket when it says 146 is section for speeding but i'm going to say that the 6 looks like a 1 when the cop wrote it down on the ticket I won a ticket like that in court when the cop wrote down the wrong section offense on the ticket but how would i say the 6 looks like a 1 in court?? should i ask people in the audience ??? i did that before

If you got pulled over on the 91 it was a traffic cop. Suck it up and pay the fine, maybe next time you wont drive like an idiot.

RallyReturns is right. Cops do get paid to go to court now. In fact, they even get paid overtime to go to court on their days off.
Apparently now it doesnt matter if the cop is there or not, you will still have to face the judge and you wont get away with it. The cops can now 'be in court' by just being on a speaker phone or a videophone. They changed this or are in the process of changing it. I read about it in the paper about 6 months ago.
