In as much as I have loved all of my Ex's the answer is YES. Only the passion I once had for them has faded, the underlying qualities that the relationship was built upon remain. I dont lust for my Ex's instead I remember the reasons why I loved them in the first place and chanced to invest emotions in them. I hear from each of them every couple years and get updated on their lives.

I don't think of all my exs except one guy that was my first love sort of thing. We got along really well but it ended up we were better as friends.
We still don't hang out together because we both are in new relationships but I miss him because we are very similar and did things that I will never have the chance to with anyone else.

i think about my ex....because I miss him as a friend. Miss his companionship. I don't wanna be with him again.....or have anything to do with him!

yes i still do most days. I find myself trying not to think about her but she was my best friend for almost 4 years so..........it's really hard to lose someone so close to you.

I compare the guys I date to the guys I used to date all the time.
Usually new guys are compared to the best bf ever or the worst bf ever.
The best bf ever was a really good person on many levels.
The worst bf ever was a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde who dumped me 3 days before my birthday.
If they are as kind to me as the first bf they get brownie points.
If they remind me at all of the worst bf... I cut them off pretty fast.

i'm the same way. i always think things like "the other one was way better" or "i had way more fun with the ex". always comparing.

I still think about my ex b/f! I think about him all day everyday....I think it is because I still love him but I hate him as much as I love him!!!!

Yup, we went out for a year n a half, but then i met someone else, broke up with her, n now i always wonder what if ? I think its the fact i cant have her that makes me want her more

Of course I think of my ex once in a while. Just the way I think of my past whenever it crosses my mind. Sometimes it's because something reminded me of him and sometimes because I ran into him. It's natural to think of your ex, it's part of your life. Now THE WAY you think of them is of course another can of worms all together. If you wish you were with him and not your current, you have a problem. If you're comparing the two, you have a problem.

It's happened before...
One of the issues probably a lot of people don't think about however, is the difference between missing an ex and just missing the type of relationship you had while you were with that person.

i think about my ex all time, usually about how im guna cut his nads off when he cmes up to me wen im out with my girlies............... when he starts tellin me how he loves n misses me! boys arnt worth tinkin about when ur on ur own..... get a teddy bear and some chocs n he'l p_off out ya mind soon enuf!

Ex's are ex's. That's all they are. Remember the good things and forget the bad. That was then. This is now. Always have to be positive and always look forward to what the next relationship might be.
