I'm a Pacific Islander female indian...hell i dunno how to be PC in this thing....but really who cares about this topic? it's not the ethnicity that's more attractive or more fun to chill with...its the person...there's nasty ones in all races, hot ones, dumb ones, smart ones, sexy ones, not so sexy ones, etc. Really..who cares?

Wallyjeet- Not all people from fiji are hindu most are christian then there are hindus, muslims and a few practicing sikhs so rather then having a narrow minded view go do some research on fiji.
Yes fiji is a multicultural country consisting of melanesians, polynesians, micronesian,chinese, europeans, philoz and people of indian origin of different faiths

To the samoan guy or whoever typed in shit how we tried to take over fiji the only thing we took over was hard work it was never our intention to dominate BUT I would not tolerate the condemnation of our forefathers alot of our ancestors were tricked and kidnapped to fiji while some went willingly when the english refuse to take back the indentured labours back to their families or homeland they had no choice but make a new home fiji.
Yes we did out number the natives at one stage the reason for that was during the late 1890's 40000 native men incl cheif leaders died from small pox from the europeans and the fact the europeans assinated alot of the young children and men which reduced the population significantily to them the natives were barbaric animals they even called their wicked hunt called hunt the cannibal

As for samoan guy our ancestors got rid of the caste system in order to get along with the rest of the caste and people of different dialects and regions when they realised everybody is a normal human being when they went through the same mistreatment as slaves no one gave a damn who came from where or what all that mattered was to come out of the wretched indentured labourship alive the only caste type system that exists in fiji is among the tribe in fiji where they have interconflicts among themselves.
Yes fijian indians do look different from mainland india people cause the dravidian, aryans and the mongloid origin people from that country all intermarried along with a few afghanis,nepalese and bengalis that also added into the mix therefore we have a certain distinctive look in which we can easily identify . My great great grandpa was from afghanistan pashtun not all came from india as people are led to believe
