Anthony Bourdain is a good AUTHOR not a good chef. He has a good perosnality that kicks ass, but you never hear of any of his new creative dishes.

I like David Rocco. Simple Italian as well.

This is true. I just like Anthony's attitude.

Nothing against his cooking talent, I just don't like David Rocco, do you not notice this basterd cocksucker ego flying out of him? Haha... I dunno I could be weird, but I notice it like an ingrown hair on my left nut.

^^ he's definatly top on my list...so is tyler florence ...mind you tyler is probably more for eye candy...
as for strictly cookin..i find Ina Garten from the Barefoot Contessa very very comforting.. she's got this motherly thing going on...i just wanna go over...pull up a stool, watch her cook and eat cookies...

I would love to have that ladies life! Move to the Hamptons, entertain for a living, and get fat off my own cooking. She's got it made. I actually don't watch a lot of Food Network because it makes me hungry, but I do go to their website for recipes a lot. I didn't take notice of Mario until I used his recipe for "lasagne" that is so good, I don't even want anyone else to know about it.

Tyler's recipes from Food 911 are usually good, and I really didn't consider Italian too much until I saw Gloria Delentis (I think?) from Everyday Italian. I admit it, I've got the hots for her and she's a good cook! And even though Emeril is played out, the guy has some great recipes on the website too.

i swear she can't eat as much pasta as she cooks..she's the firmest and fittest italian chef i've ever seen....*whew* ..i'm going to go take a cold shower now...

Jamie was so much hotter before he did the whole reality TV cooking show thing. And I don't know if it's just me, but his recipes just look so much better on TV than they actually taste when I cook them. It's been a disappointment. sad

I watched a bit of the Americanized Iron Chef, I like it more than the original. It made me realize why that fat red headed italian is who he is.

Yes that's her... very simple cooking. She's taught me some basics that I would probably never know if it wasn't for her hotness.

^^^^^^ Ina Garten from the Barefoot Contessa reminds me of my momma, minus the society Hamptons part, mine is more down to Earth. smile

On a side note, I'd like to think I'm a preddy good cook too.
