Typical bimbo, bandwagon leafs fans who grew up knowing nothing about hockey, yet we're told by a previous generation of bandwagon leafs fans (that probably didn't even live in Toronto) that the leafs are 'Canada's team' and went all, "OmG, really?! Go Leafs Go! Maple Leafs forever!"
Whoa buddy! Bitter much?!!
I actually live in Toronto, and have been watching the leafs since i was 2...never was a bandwagoner and never will be...Yes, Maple Leafs Forever, cause i grew up loving this team, and grew up loving the game...
Just because you are a bitter Canuck fan, who cannot appreciate good hockey, doesnt mean you have to take it out on us
and Girls do know hockey...you're a retard...maybe you shouldnt make snap judgements

^ Me too, roberts was tha sh!t !!!!!!
Problem is Sundin can't be on for all faceoffs. Another player I wish Toronto had is Aucoin......
Glad we kept McCabe but he's gonna have to find a replacement for his can opener this year..........................

These are Quinns lines at the moment.
Antropov Sundin Ponikarovski
Tucker Allison Czerkawski
O'Neill Stajan Steen
Domi Lindros Kilger
I think Quinn has a great set of forwards to work with, even if a couple of injuries happen.
Heres a quote for you face off guys:
Allison knew his fellow centers were good on faceoffs, but he was surprised to learn that in one recent season Sundin was fifth-best in the NHL with a success rate of 57.7 percent; O'Neill seventh at 56.7; Allison ninth at 54.5 and Lindros 10th at 54.4. The Maple Leafs might be the League's best team on faceoffs.
You know, Ihave been reading a lot about the Leafs being underdogs at about 16-1 by sports analysts, I look at them on paper and see a roster with quite a few "supertstars" and a Coach that can win (Remember he's just a Coach now, no longer a GM too)
I read stuff like this:
Make no mistake about it, the Maple Leafs are big up front with center Jason Allison at 222 pounds; center Eric Lindros, 235; center Mats Sundin, 231; center Nik Antropov, 230; left wing Chad Kilger, 224; left wing Alexei Ponikarovsky, 220; right wing Nathan Perrott, 225; and right wing Tie Domi, 212. Swingman Wade Belak weighs in at 221.
I think the clutching rule will be on the bigger quicker skaters side, once they understand what the reffs will call. The Leafs are one of the top 3 biggest in the league.
I just hope that not many lengthy injuries happen.
Leafs vs Sens Wed (I think it's on TSN, double header with the Canucks after)
I get butterflies when I REALLY think about hockey being back.
SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS BlTCHES!

too bad we couldnt keep leetch, bloody salary cap bulshizzzzz!
and lindros ($1.5mill) will have more goals/assists/whatever than cooke ($1.535mill). nucks fans need to get over the fact they went to the final a decade ago and see there teams been eating poo poo ever since.

True, keeping Leetch should have been a priority.
I disagree about the Nucks comment though, they're gonna be tough to beat this year. Naslund and Bert could have a 100 point season each.

True, if Lemieux stays healthy or plays 60 or more games, he should be at about 100 points. Didn't he average about 3 points a game in the pre-season?
Thanks Shango BUT I believe the Leafs have one of the biggest teams in the league. Fergie also made sure that his stars are protected by signing some tough customers.

Lindros has the Canadian Bad Karma deal cuz of the way he treated Quebec back in the day.
