you should drink A LOT of good, inexpensive beer...
and check out the sites ... archetecture with slavic influence... etc etc
bring some B/W film -- like Ilford XP2

My friend went to Prague a few years ago and the beer is cheap and it's breathtaking there. If you want to travel anywhere near by let me know because my roommate's family has a place in greece and she's from Albania and I have family friends in switzerland.

be careful, they try to rip off americans....charge you 3-4 times what it really costs...
doesn't everybody? it's not just american they rip-off...they rip off any foreigners and/or themselves (the gullible ones).
if you go there you CAN choose to haggle all you want. but keep in mind that it's no big money to you but it's a big deal to them. since you are there for vacation and fun, just spend the money and forget about trying to save a few bucks...

a friend went there for an exchange for 6 months. She LOVED it.
It's very inexpensive in terms of food and the like down there.
YOU MUST go get FRIED CHEESE. Yes. FRIED CHEESE.
Oh.. and Absinthe!

the $8000 dollar one?!?!?!
actually. im getting the 350D/XT or the 20D & spending $ on glass/lens.
just works out better for me that way. i can always rent the higher end bodys if needed.
