Are there any decent and rockin' places to grab Donairs in the Vancouver area?

Is Donair Town on Granville and 70th still open?

In europe Donairs are the equilivant to 99cent pizza.

They make WICKED after-bar food.... plus the little booths are the only things left open at 3am. The next time you're in try a "duram donair" (aka, a turkish pizza), they are the same ingredients as a tradtional doniar, but they are wrapped up in a flat bread... Kinda like a middle eastern burrito.

I used to love the donairs and Beaver's in Kits. It was a must stop after a night of clubbing. But it burned down and never reopened. sad

my friend from Halifax brought back the Halifax donair meat and sauce last Christmas - it was sooooo good!
