What I liked most about the conversation tammytoes originally posted was how the guy asked a simple question, but after she answered, he proceeded to talk about himself like she asked him about his career.

Guys talk about money when they have it not only because they spent their whole lives trying to develop security so his wife and friends don't think he's a loser and to support a family, but also because since everyone has gotten down on him his whole life for being a nobody or forcing him to become somebody, when he finally accomplishes it, it's the only thing he has.
