What are some of your favorite major European cities that you've travelled to?

For me, I'd have to say Barcelona and Berlin were the most fun. Barcelona had such a nice "feel" to it, and cool nightlife. Berlin was a surprise for me, I didn't know what to expect. It was such a different and funky city. The whole East and West division styles of the city also made it neat. big grin

Paris - romantic, charming, great character, and French food, just perfect for me!

Istanbul - not sure if you can call it a European city, but it's a nice mix of East meets West, (Turkish men on the other hand are slimy and awful), it's like the gateway to Asia

Krakow - Olde World European eastern charm, a breathtaking old city that wasn't bombed in WW2

Zurich - blend of Swiss perfection and accuracy with an international and hyper-modern flair, nice buildings and lake too

Grenada - It's like Barcelona but smaller, more southern, and more authentic, very beautiful city and the Alhambra moorish castle is breathtaking

Venice - beautiful and charming to the core, go in the off-season to avoid the tourists

Budapest - again, old Eastern European charm and a beautiful old city, great Hungarian cuisine

Sienna - gorgeous old Roman city with an ancient city square, this is where the name for the colour comes from, plus great Italian cuisine

It would be Paris. Barcelona would get a mention from me because the locals there were just so heartwarming.

Florence - such a beautiful city....the people are so warm and the food is great. I don't even know where to begin. I have to admit that before I got there, I wasn't expecting much, but the architecture and 'feel' of the city really took my breath away. Actually, I like the whole Tuscan region.

Cannes - had a great experience there....beautiful seaside city.

Monaco - ^ same...

Vienna - the city itself is gorgeous! The architecture....the piazza....gondolas....it's everything I expected it to be.
