i read the entire CSlewis series as a teenager, and i have to say, FX these days have come a long, looooooooong way. it's a touching story with plenty of good things to offer anyone experiencing narnia for the first time.

i thought it was pretty cool (but felt a little old in the audience).

I was a huge fan as a kid, and I was seriously disappointed in the movie. could just be me though...

i went alone.

being that it's been soooo long since i read these books, i can't say how accurate the screenplay was. it's no harry potter, it's def geared toward a younger audience, but, i still thought it was pretty cool. 100 years of winter, snow and all, it is the holidays!. smile
it's worth checking out if you're familiar with the story, i think.

has anyone checked out the polar express 3d film at imax? that's next on my list of holiday viewing....

I love love love the books.. the whole set of them.. Hahaha.. they're so simple and sweet! Well.. i guess not sweet. Death and such.

But the movie's good? Because I hate it when movies ruin books.. especially favourite books..

Like Captain Corelli's Mandolin. I took one look at the dvd. saw nicholas cage. vomited slightly. then walked away.

I saw the movie last weekend. I apparently read the book when I was in gr. 2 ~ as I don't remember it being anything like the movie. Loved the movie.

I saw the preview for the second Pirates of the Carribean - comes out in Jul 2006. Me and my gfs were giggling like schoolgirls when we saw the preview in love

for some reason i was oddly attracted to the white witch.....then i looked at her bio and found out she was born in 1960....

but my 2 cents on the movie

good, but could've been better

the child actors wern't that good, they annoyed me to tell you the truth

I like how the stayed to the story unlike other movies (LOTR) and the war scene was really well done

i loved it. i cried several times. it got to me like that.

i know, i didn't think the child actors were terrific either, but overall they were still good, imo

i want to reread the books

I enjoyed it for what it is, a children's story. Read the books when I was younger and loved them. The movie felt a bit rushed, but it was a long movie already. No real complaints.
