Have you been? what was the best part. worst part...
What should I do, see...
I'm going for 17 days and want do lots of relaxing as well as partying

Club Med's not there anymore so that's off your list, but Atlantis is riot, if you like to gamble, and they've got a club kinda thing in there, aquarium, the whole bit.

Senor Frog's is always a good *hit show too cause it's right next to where all the cruise ships get off. Can't remember the name of that other club we always went to though...

Otherwise, try and get to Exuma (magic), and do some scuba diving. Oh, and just relax on the beach with a kailua mudslide. tongue (or ten).

Just don't wander on your own around the city at night, cause there's a couple suspect areas, and there is quite a bit of poverty in the area outside of paradise island.

how's that. What else you wanna know?

what were you doing while living there?
Anything specific i should see up in the hills?
Any surrounding islands worth visiting?
I want to do a few touristy type things..suggestions?Im staying with a friend not at a resort so im trying to figure out what i want to do before I get there..although i know things will change
Ill be snorkeling..not so sure about scuba diving.
I know in cuba you can pay around $70/person and go out to a private island have dinner and stuff like that..is there something like that there?

the only 2 things I know ill be doing is snorkeling and going to Junkanoo

new years suggestions?

The Bahamas is absolutely beautiful.

I went to Miami and then went on a Cruise to Nassau in April of this year. It was amazing. Atlantis is definately worth all the hype. That place is just insane. Check out the beaches. You can get lots of cheap jewellery and watches etc from their but otherwise clothes are pretty expensive if u ask me.

Fluid is also good. Hip Hop Club.

P.S. Stay away from the suburbs as previously mentioned. It can get a lil scary.

it is beautiful....and 27 degrees
my first day here was a long one so im watching some movies and chillin tonight...
im stayin in coral harbour so kinda far from downtown..
but my friends mom lives in the ghetto (10 mins from downtown) so I was down there today..
not scary..but interesting..i couldnt get over the stray dogs

I was staying with my friends family (2 diff locations) so I did tons of everyday things...as well as got to experience all of the house parties, bbq's and stuff tourists dont. On top of that I did the touristy type things, and some days did nothing.
I drank enough for 5 people and ate enough fish for 10.....Mmmmmmmm. I always found it weird when there were only a few people on the beach..it was nice though

well im off to the Bahamas in May, cruising over from Fort Lauderdale & then not exactly sure where im staying, one of the resorts, its a package my friend got. Any advice would be good for someone all the way from Australia whose never been.
we will be there 6 nights smile

it really depends where you are staying..if you are on Paradise Island make an effort to get into the city but also if you are staying in the city go check out Atlantis there is a whole days worth of stuff to do, maybe even 2. Casino, tours, beach, pool, waterslides, nightclub, food, boat rides.
