here is my fail safe method for ribs. bpoil the SH*T outta them and then completely cover them with your sauce and put them on low heat, for at least a couple of hours in the oven. right at the end take the cover off and broil for 10 minutes before serving. no mystery, follow these and your guests will love you.

You don't need to boil them at all.
The best way to do them is on a BBQ, but on a low temperature for a very long time. Try and have high heat (475 or so) for the first 10 minutes, then move the heat way down (to like 200 or so) and let them cook for another 2 hours.

DO NOT marinade the ribs in BBQ sauce, or put BBQ sauce on the ribs while they are cooking. Just put a salty rub into them, and apply the BBQ sauce for the final 10 minutes of cooking on low heat.
It is the sweet/sugary BBQ sauce that causes meat to burn on the open flame.

The difficult way can be the most fun sometimes. Boil on if you choose, I just like to BBQ.
And I'm not referring to your condom anaolgy...
