R & B, huh, for a wedding? unusual.

My advice would be to put yourself in the shoes of the people attending and ask what they will recognize and enjoy listening or dancing to. DJ's at weddings are always playing really familiar stuff.

Some thoughts about pleasing the older crowd.

It can't hurt to play some classic BB King like "Sweet Sixteen"

van Morrison does a fantastic send up of "I Can't Stop Lovin' You" with the Chieftans on his "Hymns to the Silence" album.

There's a great old Blues Band from the Vancouver area called "Powder Blues" that folks from around here might recognize.

Old Cash, though not blues, might be a hit accross generations with the new movie and all. You could even throw an Old Elvis tune or two in for the granparents, or some Hank Williams like Lovesick Blues.

Can't help on the more modern stuff. (I'm a Roots guy)

Good luck. Have fun
