It's all good guys, I know for a fact that this guy has been training extremely long and hard for this event. I first heard about this months ago and was fortunate enough to meet the man himself. He is very dedicated and is taking all neccessary precautions to ensure that he will be fit and healthy enough to pull this off.

Check out www.mattpromo.com for more details on the training schedule, the rules set ny guiness, etc.

And most importantly, don't forget to come and rock out and keep the man company!!

Hi everyone,

This is awesome!!

Thank you hOuSerOcKeR for starting this thread!

Yes it's all true and yes it is FREE although people are welcome to make donations at the venue as I am making the attempt in an effort to raise money for 2 Australian charities.

TRouBLeHoLiC you should know that although there is no mandatory drugs test for this GWR, I have spoke with the Victorian Institute Of Forensic Medicine and they will be administering tests afterwards to prove that I didn't take any illegal stimulants to aid me. I am allowed Caffeine, Guarana, Damiana and Taurine and I will use some if not all of those.

Archangel_7 wrote "how is that possible? 100hours? he can die! i dont know!" There are some serious side effects caused by sleep deprivation but hopefully I wont die!!! As for how it's possible, just lots of training, a clear mind, a good support group (this thread helps too!), plus grit and determination to break the record and raise the money for the charities.

toofunkyAU wrote "this is crazy, how u could stay awake for 100 hours alone would be near impossible in my eyes, but i'll go down to watch" It's not as difficult as it sounds if your mind and body are prepared for it. We've all missed a nights sleep here and there and usually during that time we've had down periods when our mind and body goes into relaxation mode. I'll be missing four nights sleep but my mind will be stimulated throughout and I will have a stretching program and a support group that wont allow me to go into relaxation mode.

JuZi wrote "it sez u hav 2 leave after 4 hours that sux, could hav atleast been 6" This is one of the rules and not one I agree with in principal but it is there to ensure the safety of the attending audience which is important. You can leave and come straight back and after all, when was the last time you danced for four hours straight?

Rogue 2 thank you filling in some of the gaps and thank you to everyone on this thread for your interest in this event. The event is being staged to raise money for charity and your support is invaluable to our success as it keeps the project in the public eye.

Thank you everyone at CLUBVIBES and please don't hesitate in asking any questions either via this thread or directly via me@mattpromo.com

Cheers
