Still, it will be fun when they open the line to Richmond.
I saw the access stairs and escalator at Granville Station.

A most keen observation.

Trees are up on most of Granville ThePhoenix.
New trees with roots that grow down not out in an effort to minimize damage to sidewalks and street.

Last time I was there was about 6 months ago and I couldn't figure out the purpose of those 4 ft black posts lining the sidewalk .... anyone know?
only think I could think of was crowd control? but they seemed oddly spread out for that and didn't have the hardware to attach chains?

I heard that they plan to use the posts in order to cover the street for various events. They will basically hold a canopy to tarp over the street. I thought it was a rather retarded idea if you ask me...
