^ I'll cosign.

DickSS keeps talking about Hezbollah made the initial attacks.

I'm still trying to figure out how kidnapping 2 soldiers and killing no-one could be considered an "attack", per se. It certainly wasn't very nice.

Ditto with the original incident with Palestine. Which is an attack? Kidnapping a single soldier? Or killing 100 people?

YOU make the call!

Oh and all this talk about how Hezbollah was firing rockets at Israel, as well...

Strange that those rockets weren't killing anyone until Israeli warplanes started carpet bombing.

Could it be that the previous, supposed "rocket attacks" were necessary to strengthen the case that Israel was under an actual attack, and therefore at least partially justified in its bloodlust?

The rocket attacks since the outbreak of real violence (on Haifa in particular) have certainly been no laughing matter, at least.

I read an article recently in which the IDF stated that they were making cross border raids with ground troups on Hezbollah outposts as they have been doing ever since pulling out of Lebanon.

To this I say good work on the IDF's part. This seems like a good way to deal with the threat of Hezbollah's rocket attacks. However, it really flies in the face of DickSS's claim that the cross border raid by Hezbollah on an IDF patrol was an unprovoked attack.

But then I suppose that we are all well aware that DickSS never has a clue what he's on about, but talks out of his ass anyway.

lets see

valar says that he agrees with this specific israeli policy to defend itself from the terrorists, yet he blames this policy for provoking the terrorist attacks

just like blaming a rape victim for her policy of wearing a short skirt, except made all the more disgusting by outwardly voicing his support for her policy decision at the same time

israel did not provoke this cross border sneak attack from hezbollah in lebanon

israel had withdrawn completely from lebanon, as confirmed by un security council resolution 425

there was no reason for hezbollah to attack this time, or any of the multitude of other times they have attacked, other than their desire to end the existence of israel

this was naked aggression, plain for all the world to see

israel's mere existence, and her defence of this existence, cannot be considered a 'provocation' for hezbollah's attacks by any sane, rational, moral person

valar, I'm disappointed with you

Dude even your pornographic fantasies are third rate. Honestly how many times today have you whacked off to images of arabs dying? I'll bet you've don't even have use little blue pills before banging DickSSS skanky ass anymore. Israel these two are pulling for you (literally).

Israel occupied Lebanon for 20 years and could not get rid of Hezbollah. They are going to get rid of them in 20 days? Puh-leez.

Yes I believe Israel should use whatever means necessary to protect its country and its people.

Why is it so difficult for you and others on this thread to understand Hezbollah is NOT a country. The rules of engagement are different. If Israel does not use whatever means necessary to destroy Hezbollah, Hezbollah will continue to attack Israel. I agree it is an unfortunate situation for innocent Lebanese caught in the crossfire, but if Hezbollah had any ounce of courage, they would remove their troops from populated areas and confront Israeli troops. I have more respect for Nazi's than I do terrorists, at least Nazi's were brave enough to confront the enemy on the battlefield and wear uniforms.

Stop thinking on-sided and start thinking like a civilized human being. Would you rather live in a world run by Israel or a world run by Hezbollah?

Colt,

Israel has the fire power to dismantle Hezbollah in one day, unfortunately many innocent people would die. In my opinion that would be a "Disproportionate use of force". Lets hope it doesn't come to this.

I raise this question to Mythos, Engineer, Dot, Colt, and Grapes. Would you rather live in a world run by Israel or a world run by Hezbollah?

I choose Israel, because I know that they would go to bat for me and protect me if I lived in their country. Hezbollah would be great until they were attacked, because they would turn on me and use me as a human sheild.

i.e. you're either with us or you're with the terrorists, right?

i choose neither. i have no more interest in a country "going to bat" for me by destroying another and killing its civilians than i have in becoming a human shield in hezbollah's largely pointless and unwinnable war against israel.

yes... we all know how "brave" you are, dickSS- sitting out the "epic battle between good and evil" because you have "better things to do" and making ridiculous online threats, from the anonymity of your basement, to other CVers to meet up with them in dark alleys.

it takes true courage to beat your chest online about "evil muslims" while doing nothing about the "evil muslims" yourself. you've given us all something to think about, you simple-minded clown.

look red_dot, you're a coward

either you're too much of a coward to stand against the islamists, or you're too much of a coward to openly declare your support for them

either way, don't try to hide this cowardness behind some phony 'I choose neither' bullshi.t

either you're with us or you're with the terrorists

or option C. DickSS is too fuçkin stupid to realize that the world isnt black and white, and it is very possible to support neither side in an armed conflict.

who are you with again? and what are you doing about it? i could be wrong but i don't think they give out purple hearts for "wounds" sustained in online forums and silver stars for "most courageous internet post in a current affairs thread." if they ever do, though, i'll be sure to nominate you for your "bravery," big guy.

ok, i will explain it to you (im actually surprised no one else has jumped on this quote yet - you must all be too busy supporting The Body Shop.) http://www.clubvibes.com/...id=422497&forum_id=32

First of all EIGHT soldiers WERE KILLED, and 2 were kidnapped.

Is that clear enough for you?

Does this fit your definition of an attack - per se?
