If you can't handle the negativity of discussing getting them, just think how much they will draw when you have them.

I don't have them- but after my lump surgery, i looked into possible breast augmentations/reconstruction.

Breast implants these days are relatively safe- if you have the right doctor and have done your research.

I would recommend going to a few different clinics and talking to several doctors before making up your mind. They can give you information as well as recommendations etc.

I opted to wait to see what happens before doing anything, as the surgeon who performed my lumpectomy (sp?) said that it looked as though i would not have any large "divit" with which i would have to contend.

pixie, i do see what you are saying. It was just worded a little harsh. I don't want huge ones. I don't want to look like a porn star. I have b's. I would possibly want c's.

ashwee. Thanks i had planned on (if it even came to that, which i doubt) going to different clinics and getting opinions, as well as from my own dr. And your comment about pming was exactly what i wanted to do, but some girls are bitchy and i don't want to step on toes by e mailing every girl who (obviously) has implants.

ahh i see what you meant. I thought about writing it that way. oh well hehe. I go through fazes where i really really want them. But i don't need them. I'm not flat as a board. So i usually look at different sites and read up on what is involved, all of the risks (which usually turn me off) etc...

my girlfriend wanted them WAY before she met me. after a about a year of discussing it we decided together that she should get them. we got a personal recommendation from a friend for a doctor. best way to go if you ask me. i have seen my share of store-boughts and i can say that this guy did a STELLAR job and that is not some typical boob-worshiping male comment. they really are spectacular lucky me! anyway, he put them under the muscle and i dont know how he did it but they look surprisingly real. now, dont get me wrong, they are too perky and perfect to be mistaken for real but they in NO WAY resemble the hack jobs you see in porn or at a strip club.
recovery was a bitch for her. she was given vicodens which just fcuked her stomach up but that maybe a personal thing. i have heard from a few friends that the recovery wasnt that bad, but let me tell you from first hand experience that hers was TERRIBLE. to this day she still has issues sleeping on her side. at first her nipples had no sensitivity whatsoever and now she has periods where they are uber sensitive or just normal. her scars are underneath (not the nipple but the breast itself)so they are barely visible and she put on a lot of vitamin E, Shea butter, and stuff called Scarzone(i think, cant remember) for about a month or so after.
she was off work for about a week or two as well since her job involved lifting. about 2 yrs later she is very happy. she went from a B to a large C so they compliment her body very well and in clothes she looks normal. as long as you're not some psycho insecure chickenhead, i say get them if it will make you happy.
