out of curiousity i made an appointment with the plastic surgeon recommended to me by my physician, (dr warren fyi), and the next available date is mid-december! wowza, plastic surgery IS popular!

Dr. Warren IS the best of the best! I've had quite a few friends come out of there with GREAT natural looking breasts.

How come you didn't choose him then?

Although I am 110% happy with my implants, had I met with Dr. Warren before Dr. Thompson, I would have chose him. He is not only an amazing doctor, but very very personable and great at making you feel comfortable & answering all your questions.

i guess there's a reason why plastic suregons have to make you comfortable and be super nice.. they are essentially selling a product ... if they can convince girls to go under the knife imagine how many 50" plasmas they could sell!

^ I would think most smart women have done their own research and made their decision to go ahead with the surgery before booking a consultation.

I've never heard of a doctor convincing someone to do it.

theres probably not too many people who go into an electronics store and get convinced into buying a 50" plasma either tongue

Well for some women , a great set of breasts is all they really have to offer.

Lucky for me and my small tits, I have a personality.

The fact is, you can expect people not to judge you til the cows come home, but they will.

As long as you're mentally prepared to deal with the outcome, it is your choice.

A drug dealer will never convince or tell you that hard drugs will screw up your life even though many cause memory problems, depression, anxiety. He's making money so he won't likely mention hey.. you may lose the feeling in your nipples and when you have a baby, you'll have problems.

the risks are discussed on any of the plastic surgery/surgeon websites you visit. in fact, they're almost over-emphasized, so that should something go wrong (which, when you look at the stats, with GOOD doctors, is quite rare), at least they're prepared.

i think a distinction needs to be made between the girls who get what appear to be beach balls attached to their chests, and girls who get subtle enhancements to correct problems, or become more in proportion.

the way i'm coming to see it is that the only thing stupider than vanity/cosmetic surgery, is not letting yourself correct a problem that's making you unhappy when there is a solution.

If he/she makes this a practice, it won't take long before they won't be able to afford the malpractice insurance from all the law suits.

I dont think any men in here would turn down a woman with 36DD regardless of them being fake or real...

Turn down for a one night stand, probably not. In fact you don't need 36DDs to be successful in getting a one nighter. You pretty much just need legs. A realtionship is a completley different matter.

My ex prefered my body when I had smaller boobs. He said I looked more proportionate. His new gf has a B cup. Go figure. Many men really do prefer proportion over exageration.

one of the single most idiotic blanket statements i've read all week.

i don't find big breasts attractive. i Tend to think of them as ugly, to be honest. Most of those really do not accentuate the figure, or are proportionate.

most DD'd women i've also met that are natural are unhealthy, heavyset, & live a lifestyle i cringe at, which turns me off even more.

i'd much rather have a healthy proportionate A/B cup than some filthy DD cup.

^ Actually, I agree with a lot of that. But, real or fake is not an issue to me. It's whether they're proportionate or not.

Unless she's healthy and fit in all the other areas too...puke

Besides, girls with huge boobs usually end up joining SAG. no

If you're embarrassed because your titties are itty bitty and you want to do something about it... don't forget that the less natural breast tissue you start out with, the less convincing an implant job will look. The only ones that look halfway decent are when what's added is less than what was already there.

You want health insurance coverage for other breast-related illnesses? Goooooooood luck.

The more we see blown-up boobs, the more we learn to recognize them instead of being fooled. The more we learn to recognize them, the less attractive they are. The more people are exposed to these bug-eye bosoms, the more often they are going to start seeing them as unattractive instead of as appealing. I've been seeing them that way for years now.

If I am not making myself clear, let me spell it out right now: implants are ****ing ugly! Implants only look good on the level of first impressions. Expect people in your life to react with an initial charge followed by a gradual accumulation of disgust. Anyone who likes you over the long term will do so in spite of them, not because of them -- the same as they would if you had a glass eye.

If you envy women with big jugs, talk to them... a lot of them wish they could have smaller ones. (By the way, I wouldn't get breast reduction surgery either unless you're desperate. The surgery is more serious and, in the short term, probably more risky than breast enhancement is -- there are cases where the nipple, after being unplugged and stuck in a new position, dies and rots away -- but at least the risk is over once it heals.)

An awful lot of implant jobs come out crooked, uneven, or weird looking. An awful lot of women think it's worth that, just to have the size. Does that make any sense to you? It doesn't to me.

Boob jobs are like stage makeup: they look good at a distance. They look better on you from 50 feet than from 10 feet, better from 10 feet than from one foot, better in a photograph or video than in real life, and better with more clothing than they do with less. They're at their worst when the distance is most intimate.
