OS: Windows: Microsoft Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4
Browser: IE 6.0.2800.1106
Bug type: User Interface/Reproducible
Desc: when a search term is entered into the "Keywords" text box and the enter key is pressed, the search is submitted, but the resulting page does not have any "hits". If the "Search" button is clicked, however, results matching the search term are provided. Look-and-feel commonly expected would have either the focus switch to another form element (no submit) or for the search to execute with the same results as clicking the "search" button.
Will check at home with Firefox and Windows XP to see if it occurs with that as well.
(Take a wild guess who's done software testing in his day....)

I think you all owe this idea to me, check my thread history....how come Joel never said anything in that?
It's about time.
