Wow this was a great find for me to read at work. I moved here from one small ass town on Van. Island called Black Creek, look it up if they even bother putting it on the map. My first reaction to the girls was optimistic I figured heck I am in a new place it should be really simple to make new friends and start better relationships, holy crap was I ever wrong...Women expect more then they deserve and men have allowed this to happen and get out of control so it comes as second nature to the girls. Think about the pavlovian theory, ring a bell when you goto feed your dog and eventually without even presenting food you can ring the bell and have the dog drool. Essentially this is what men have done with women in Vancouver, I know its a stretched example but still easily to understand.

I was surprised at how a lot of the girls I came across up here thought that they were Hollywood "ho's" that were waiting to be hand picked by the producer for the next blockbuster film. Now I am not placing all the blame on the women as its not only there fault, the rise in metrosexual's and Guido losers imitating the retards from Jersey Shore have really screwed up the nightlife scene. I don't understand why people cant just be happy with who they are and live with that, why try and put up a farce that you will have to live by for the rest of your life. Why set that bar one notch higher for every other guy till eventually women have such a distorted perception on what they want in a man?

I myself am just your average small town boy who came to the big city for a chance at that big break, yeah I might have my dreams but I don't let them consume who I really am until I am some ed hardy wearing, product using dude that tans at the salon, real men tan by working outside without a shirt on. Approximately 96% of the people my age I have met up here (24) still live at home and well that's too sheltered of a life you expect too much from life because everything is handed to you and well when you get out on your own its that reality kick that a lot of people both men and women need at this point in there life.

My biggest pet peeve with the women in Vancouver is this "Where are all the good guys' I constantly hear girls complaining about how they were with such a jerk or always got stood up or just didn't feel appreciated in general and its always followed by the "Where are all the good guys" well take it from a good guy...WERE HIDING. We all know that the so called good guys don't seem to have a chance until the end and then they are wanted as a cleanup crew for some chick that just spent 5 years bouncing from one shitty meaningless relationship to another. No offense but I don't want to deal with sloppy seconds from a rampant spree of shitty relationships that's a powder keg of emotional baggage waiting to go off.

Women in Vancouver need to realize that not everyone is a CEO or Fortune 500 player, especially the girls working for $10/hr at the local starbucks or something. Lower your expectations to something down to Earth, and maybe try reciprocating some emotions to people. Just cause I smile and say "hi" as we walk past each other on the street doesn't mean it was really code for I want to fuck your boots off. Then again as a nice guy I can say I am pretty much done with that act, a nice guy never seems to get as far ahead as a douche will, not sure what it is but its true when they said women like assholes they were right.
