Whitney was always my #2 pick behind katarzyna. I was devastated when she was voted off EVEN though she NAILED the italian commercial. She had the best accent, the best look.
Whitney deserved to win. She did have the full package. She wanted it more. You could tell. Even thinking about the last pic she took, the black & white one where you just see a portion of her face, she looked gorgeous.

There have been much better looking and more talented plus size girls that didn't make it anywhere near as far as Whitney.
sorry, but whitney just wanted it more. She nailed so many of the photos, perfectly.

She's an average girl that takes gorgeous pictures that will never get booked because she doesn't fit into that world.... models are rail thin and wierd looking for a reason. The designers want you getting a good look at the clothing...

True that, and I personally think she looked ridiculous bouncing down the runway. Mind you Anya did a sh.ite job on the runway as well but overall I think she took way better pictures.

Personally I didnt think she did too great on runway either, but not ALL models are disgustingly thin and there is more to modelling than just runway, a LOT more...what do you see more in everyday life, a picture in a magazine or on a billboard? or a runway show? She will do just fine in the modeling world I am sure!

Modelling doesn't just consist of runway. There's print, catalogue, hair, foot, hand modelling etc.
Anya was the best, she had the most diverse look, most photogenic, and she won all the challenges that were awarded to her from different people during the different competitions. I think the judges knew she was the winner but picked Whitney, so bigger girls will feel better about themselves. Probably because all the flack they got for always having thin girls win. And a lot of the modelling industry is starting to focus more on "natural" girls. I.E. Dove commercials, having annorexics banned from runways in certain countries (Spain being one).
Anya was much more fresh and young. Whitney had an older personality, more personable, but in the long wrong modelling isn't about what comes out of their mouths but the look they give. Both will probably do just fine in the modelling world whether it's for plus-size catalogues or couture runway.

It's Americas Next TOP model though.. not top sears model or hand model. The target is "high fashion".
Tyra just wanted a thicker girl to win ( I don't think she's plus size either... more like normal ). And now that she has I'm curious to see where she ends up... other than the Tyra show giving makeup tips.

I can't stand the show anymore, Tyra is so annoying and fake, and the show has like nothing to do with the real world of modeling anymore.
If you can, watch Germany's next top model with Heidi Klum. She is so much better at hosting, and is really a normal person, and the girls actually get real jobs with real desigers, competing against other models not on the show. And they don't do that many faux photoshoots either.
I read that Tyra is leaving the show next season.

I heard that too. I heard that she has nothing more to do with the show other than the judging. She is too busy with her talkshow. I also heard she is looking for another super model to take over her spot on the show so she can focus all her efforts on her talkshow

She wasn't really a part of the show the last two seasons, anyways, so good riddance.
I was happy that Whitney won. I think that she will have an easier time getting bookings than Anya would, considering she sounds like a bleeting goat when she opens her mouth. Pretty girl tho

I liked Whitney...maybe not my favourite out of the whole group, but I thought she was pretty good. Let's face it....this show has never produced a Top Model anyway, so what does it matter?
Is it just me or is "Plus Size" shrinking?? Whitney looks normal size to me...
