I've been inside rooms at the Imperial Palace, way nicer and cleaner than The Excalibur!
That said, i never stay at either by choice.

The only place to stay Is Mandalay Bay. Awesome clubs and great restaurants. Crazy pool, nice gaming and poker rooms.

I've stayed at Treasure Island a few times now and that's the only place I plan on stayng whenever I go back, especially since they remodeled it and went to the "adult" theme instead of the priate & family theme.
Great location, price is usually a little better than the Mirage, and I love the size cause it's not too big like MGM or Caesars but it's big enough to have a weide variety of restaurants and place to drink in it.

Hooters is new, from what I recall.
Only downside is that it is not on the strip.
However, they usually have really good deals.

The coolest thing about the Flamingo is that it was one of the original casino/hotels in the area, built when LV was just a ****hole in the desert. Oh and Bugsy Seigel got killed over it...
But I agree with that guy about the Mirage...
Don't take my word for it, though. I only know all these hotels from having been there; I've never actually stayed in one of them. Whenever I go to LV, I stay at my friends' mansion. Because it's a really big house, I still have to pay for it, but of course there are much fewer rules than @ a hotel. Fewer rules = good.
If any of u r there the next time I go, u r welcome 2 stay there. It's a pretty big house in N. LV. I'll just tell them I know you from Vancouver.

K, back from Vegas....and what a trip!
Some really wicked times and others not so much  LOL
Went to tons of clubs & afterhours and this is my thoughts:
TAO - Waaaaaaaaaaaay overcrowded...couldn't even move to dance and because its hip-hop and drinking everyone was spilling drinks and shiit, wouldn't go back if you paid me
PURE- Not too overcrowded, could dance freely, played good music and had a great time, def go back
DRAI'S - An afterhours, loved the layout and decor, had WICKED music....good hard dirty beats, def go back
EMPIRE - Another afterhours, really big, dark and warehousy, had ok music but was undercrowded, vibe wasn't really there, would have to be convinced to go back
PLAYBOY LOUNGE - *snore* Sooo boring! I was expecting/hoping it would be a big party scene like a Playboy Mansion party, but no such luck. More loungey, old dudes playing poker @ tables with chicks dressed in black bunny suits. Music was super low and mellow. Would def not go back.
MOON - New club that opened in Palms hotel (where playboy & ghostbar are) WOW! Killer club, loved everything about it! Lots of different areas, inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs....the whole roof opened up over the main dance floor. Played wicked mix of music. Def recommend this one.
SEAMLESS - A gentlemens club that turns into an afterhours...went twice it was so good  HEHE Had a wicked time, they have chicks walking around with only g-strings on. You could get a lap dance from any girl for $20. My gf who I was with is just becoming interested in girlies LOL and some dude paid for her to get one...she loved it!   They had great music and great vibe, would recommend this and go back obviously
I was sneaky and took a quick pic while she was getting the lapdance LOL Check it...she's buried under there somewhere LOL

I'm more confussed after reading this thread!! Me and some friends are looking to go end of the month of beg. of Dec. - Just want something well priced and good location, not interested in staying at the fanciest place.
