^^ Stay at the Alladdin. It's super nice and right on the strip (right across Bellegio, so you can see the water show).
Plus its cheaper than usual b/c its undergoing renovations but that didnt effect our stay there at all. I went this June for 4 nights, 5 days and hotel + airfare was $500 Candadian. And we also got our room upgraded to an enormous sized suite.

Stay anywhere close to a monorail stop, stratosphere is WAY too far when you consider the walk home at the end of a long tired night. Also, i found that we really didnt spend anytime in our room, so just take whats cheap and convienent.

the gun store was way to much fun. just ****ty when your girl out shoots you with a ar15. stayed at the monte carlos it was ok, next time its the Bellagio.

i thought the aladdin was an ugly hotel. ts pretty basic inside. only thing good there was PF Changs.
the rooms were ok though

The Castle is the Excalibur, stay away from staying there at all costs.

I'm going back at the end of this month. About 20 of us going in this group and we've got rooms at MGM and the Aladdin. Can't ****in wait!

Sorry to bump an old(er) thread.. but I might be going to Vegas this weekend with a couple gfs and was wondering about best shopping and coolest casinos to check out.
We've got a comped suite at Treasure Island and no cover / no wait at Pure on Saturday (anyone know what kind of music they play Saturday and what the dress code is)?
What's good on Sunday/Monday night (if anything)?

.. oh and what time does Pure get busy on a Saturday? We wouldn't be in Vegas until 10pm or so.

The premium outlet malls are great for shopping. They are off strip, and you gotta cab it there.
Not that far however.
On strip, go to the fashion Show mall, which is quite large, right by Treasure Island.
Ceasars and the Alladin have decent shopping as well.

^ mystere is supposed to be the weakest of the cirque shows...O at the Bellagio is rated the best
I saw Ka at MGM grand and loved it...tickets were about 120 USD...well worth the price of admission
