NO NO NO ..they should not be reproducing.

The article about long wait lists for downs syndrome children was in Macleans a few months ago...

Yup, we as taxpayers are paying for this, to the potential tune of millions:

Did anyone see the newscast where the family asked for donations? I found that tacky and annoying.

OceanB, its quite ironic that those who should reproduce the least, quite often end up reproducing the most.

Its baffling, and lends credence to their educational levels.

Its been proven that the more education you have, the fewer children you have on average.

From a completely atheistic perspective:

Taking one life.... mmm...
Taking two lives.....mmmmmmmmmm....
There must be a reason there is diversity in this world...
What you'd call a curse... might just be a blessing in disguise...
Who says these two kids... no matter how shot their lives might be...
Will not be the cause of something positive in this world !...
Beethoven was deaf…
Andre bocelli is blind…
These two are conjoined at the head…

How is that from an atheistic perspective?

Yes, this is true. Unfortunate, but nonetheless true.

It is so easy to go out and get pregnant. It is difficult to work hard to become the best person you can be and seek to educate yourself before settling down to eventually have a family at the right time.

If I was having a child and discovered it had a severe congenital anomalie I would not bring it into the world. Especially if they were conjoined at the head Their quality of life will be horrible. They will never experience life the same as we have. It is so stressfull on the families of these children too: financially and emotionally.

I would rather pay for this then to pay for those dumbass mothers who sit on their assess milking our welfare system, cause their too lazy to get of their ass and get a real job like the rest of us.

Lol, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I do personally agree
Why hope for that really i mean if it happens i understnad accepting it, but hoping for it seems really odd to me i was shocked when she mentioned this.

The only thing i hoped for when pregnant was a healthy child.

If I have a kid, I hope it comes out with 3 fingers and 40 toes.

I would rather live it on my back, than not at all.

If you never lived at all then you wouldn't know what you were missing, no?

Imagine seeing your siblings running around, riding bikes, playing tag etc... Wouldn't you be a tad jealous/resentful??

I know I would be.

So you'd rather pay for the product of those same dumbass welfare mothers?

^^Sorry it came out wrong. I have a friend who sat on welfare for yrs and lied about her partner living with her. She was too lazy too go back to work.........I just meant this women will actually need the assistance with having these congoined twins vs my friend who was too lazy to get off her ass.

not enough people abort. babies are expensive, ugly, bitches cause they cry so much, diapers cost more than liquor, speaking of which you can't get drunk with them.

CTV News is having a special News piece starting now, at 6pm, on Felicia (the conjoined babies' mom) introducing them to her other daughter that she had at 17.

I'm curious to hear some thoughts from those who have a chance to watch.

CTV News.

Wow, she already had 2 kids, a daughter and a son. I thought she only had one other kid.

Well, according to Felicia, her daughters are "awesome" and "when one throws up, the other one does too". Cool. I wonder if that will happen at age 10.

How will they walk?

It's a sad situation to subject them too. sad They should not have been born.

Forget about walking for now how can you even put them in a car seat.

If I was born like that and lived I'd feel blessed, but that's only because I wouldn't want to think negitive (just like that other set that's alive and 40+ years old) but I also wouldn't bring babies into the world like that.
