Of my cell phone working after it's been through the wash? I'm freaking the hell out here. I can't afford to buy a new phone.

my phone kept working after it fell out of my pocket at a foam party. it was soaked and didn't work for a few days. but after taking the battery out and letting it dry for about a week, it came back to life.
i've also heard that putting it in rice helps to absorb the moisture even faster

what brand of phone is it and which carrier are you with?

you want to let it dry before you turn it on, otherwise it may short out

Damnit. And go figure I JUST sold my perfectly good old Bell phone to someone for $75 (Truth be told. It was the best phone i've ever had... But I just had to be cool and get a new one). I paid over $400 for it last October

water + electricity = bad

So, you know that little water damage sticker that's on the battery that turns a pretty colour when it becomes wet. Would it be at all suspicious if that were removed when I try to take the phone in and say the screen just stopped working? haha

Ugh. Today has sucked.

I wouldn't even bother trying to lie. They'd know in 2 seconds of opening it up what happened.

just let it dry out

find a warm lamp and put it under it for a while... not a hot lamp, a warm lamp
