So I was on my computer surfing the web, all of the sudden I notice a very thin line running vertically down the right side of my laptop screen. I touch the screen it goes away, I touch it again it comes back. Now it's gone again but WTF happened. It's under warranty if this is an issue but I'm confused why it happened or what is causing it.

Sounds like one of the electrodes in your screen is failing.
LCD displays work by passing electrical currents through a liquid crystal medium. The pixels are created by passing current from a horizontal grid of wires to a vertical grid of wires. If one of your vertical wires is breaking, it would cause a vertical row of dead pixels to appear. Touching the screen, in this case, appears to re-establish the connection that is lost and the pixels come back to life.
Wait until the line of pixels craps out again, and take it in for warranty servicing. You'll need a new screen.

I'm know convinced it's my screen. Cause now when I adjust my screen up or down the red line appears or dissapears.

the red line appears or dissapears.
If the line is red, I guarantee you that it's the electrode grid, specifically in the red layer of your LCD.
How about mentioning things like that when you first post the question? It'd help a lot; since you mentioned no colour I assumed it was a black line.

Sorry for not mentioning the color earlier, I thought I had oops!
No it won't stop doing it, everytime I adjust the screen. Oh well quess it will be going into the shop.
