lol... Thanks Prom! But believe it or not, I am living the dream! (to a degree)...

I never really had a set desire as a child, I always wanted to be independent, business minded and successful in my career of choice... And so far I am... YAY me! smile

The big white wedding and house-wife dream was never for me as a child and still isn't...

Years ago, I once watch a doco called 7Up... and they interviewed children at the age of 7 and then again at 14, and again at 21, 28 etc etc... and they had this theory / saying... Show me the boy and I'll show you the Man... and it's true in most cases... Now I know they mean more along the lines of character traits vs dreams and careers but I was bored and just curious to see…

yeah they had a revist a little while ago, and its amazing, one of them eneded up homeless, like, now there up to 42 years i think. Andddd attttt 35 years one was homeless, when they had the reuninion and the other one got him on his feet again and then now, 7 years after that (42 years) it was like "whatd you do over the last 7 years?" "got this one a house etc"


I am definately living my childhood dreams, I always wanted to be a builder and a rock star, and, I never like achieved either full on, BUT, even though i dont like trade work now... handy man ****, carpentry etc.. I'm occasionally doing it. (cabinet making last year/year before, and then carpentry) but the rock star.. I never WANTED to be a rock star as a kid, but i do remember my favourite toys were musical ones so, yeah.. I got what I was after... I have grown up music toys now wink

but yeah... work in progress tongue

I had two dreams, one working in the services in intel, completed and the other as a rather wealthy business man with very expensive cars and a big house, well I have the business and the house, just got to get the cars.

i wanted to be a librarian... age 5

Then i wanted to be a kindergarden teacher age 10

hairdresser age 12

counsellor age 15

and now i have no clue.... how said........

id love to be a counsellor though.... i have a knack for advice tongue so ive been told

True story.

Needless to say, that's one childhood dream that didn't come true. sad

Then i wanted to be a firefighter.

Then a hairdresser.

And now, i want to be Master of the Universe. It'll happen, I can feel it.

Grade 3 and b4: Policeman. So I can play with guns.

Grade 4 to year 8: no clue.

Year 9 & year 10: Architect. So I can design my own house. One that is energy efficient, environmentally friendly and hard 2 break in, with solar panels, water-tank, maybe window bars, maybe double glazed windows.

Year 11 to Age 25 /just after finishing postgrad studies in microelectronics: Microchip designer. So I can design fast CPUs.

About age 26 to now: Electronic Technician sailor in the Navy. So I can travel, use what I learnt @ uni & TAFE, good chance of career advancement. I get 2 enlist around the end of next month so I’ll get 2 live out my latest dream soon.

Nah~!! I really wanna work in a library which may sound really gay, but its actually pretty damn fun, as long as your not cataloguing all day.

Maybe that madonna thing isn't too far away if she damn well ****in tours down here for her new album, silly bitch

i wanted to be a dj from the age of 12 and wanted to make music from about mid teens, and although it has taken me til im now 26 , having now signed my first record to a label i think im on my way to living the childhood dream big grin

After my parents bought me a dum kit for my 12th bday i wanted to play n get paid. It's paying off slowly. Hopefully someone important will be interested in the music someday soon.....
