Alright, so on craigslist yesterday, I found this job posting: http://seattle.craigslist...g/see/med/330684180.html.

I'd like to send in my resume for it, but I'm a bit hesistant to send in my creative work to what could amount to a cattle call. Or worse-someone looking for some great creative to rip off. I've seen it done before.

So I'm guessing (hoping) there's enough folk around here with their ear to the ground to know what club this actually is. Or even better, know what club it is AND could swing me some contact info. Or even BETTER, if you heard of someone who needs a designer, and just doesn't know where to look.

Whatever it is, I'd appreciate any help you guys could toss my way.

Ready? OK GO

Hey Dwight,

Send in your resume. DON'T send in samples. Serious people will take a look at your whole portfolio, not just a few samples. Set up an interview to show them these. If everything seems legit, then take a chance. If not... bail... follow your gut.

It is strait up. You have to remember if a club is looking for that chances are they are trying to make a change and their actions have to be very subtle so no one else will pick up on it. they are protecting their future buisness. But Menuki was right. Sounds like they just want to seperate the amatuers and professionals... Good luck! and Go bucks!
