Anyone else work out there...?

It's not like I've done a lot of gym hopping to know what gym is superior or what but to date, this place is excellent! I love that I don't need to wait for ANYTHING when I'm there and there's enough space for everyone. They also got some equipment that apparently, no other gym in Vancouver has like that crazy rotator machine!

Bonus... lots of eye candy for my orangey-brown eyes to feast on... not only that, but someone I've been eyeing for a while works there as a trainer, too... in love

kinda funny you mention this place. the other day i was mentioning to someone that i noticed a lot of people at my gym wearing Pantheon tshirts. i work out at Fitness World, so i just thought it was funny they were wearing shirts from another gym. what's the membership fee there?

on a side note: i've also seen a lot of hot people wearing their shirts walking around downtown as well. so whatever is going on in that gym, keep it up. in love

Sadia, I'm pretty sure it's something like $40... all classes included. I go to Fitness World as well but you have to pay for their classes, if you want to take any... not like any really interest me, anyways.

I only go there to work out with Angela... but if I choose to ever go back to working downtown, I'd cancel my membership with FW and stick with Pantheon. The atmosphere is great with lots of positive energy. Not only that, but Angela is absolutely amazing... I'm really happy I hooked up with her cuz the results I've gotten with her are fantastic to date. smile

You should go check it out... look for George (he also trains at the FW I work out at!)... I almost fell off the Jacobs ladder once cuz I was eyeing him in a bad ass way... so much eye candy...blush

it does sound like a good place. i mean i've heard good things and bad things, but that's like everything. if i end up going, my only workout would be my eyes. lol

for now though, i'll stick with FW. my bf and his friends work there, so when i go, everyone is always helping me out.
i mean, the one thing i can complain about lately is that it's always packed and no one is putting away the weights properly. small pet peeve. sad

I can't stand bigger corporations, anyways... that's one issue I've always had with Fitness World... it's too packed, even in the mornings and I can't always find what I need. 2 different issues, under 1 roof. If I worked downtown full time or lived there, I got my choice of where to go but for the time being, I'm at Fitness World. Although, the choice of locations is pretty good!

^ Hornby and Smithe... across the street from the Scotiabank theater and in the Chancellor building.

Tarzan... I don't know the proper name of the thing but it works out the rotators. You lay on this octopus style bench... arms up and under the pads and one side works the bottom/back of the rotators cuz yer extending with your arms backwards, and when you switch up to the other side, it works out the front of the rotators cuz you are pushing forward. Sh*tty visualization, I know! Apparently, they're the only place that got this thing in Vancouver.


I'm not working out with my trainer this Saturday but since I gotta be downtown, anyways and it's my shoulder day, I might as well work out there.

I'll ask tonight what the exact name is... it may make sense, then, but I've done the odd gym hopping before and haven't seen it elsewhere! Fawk kills using it!

You'll be making a HUGE error if you work out at Pantheon. These guys are incredibly shady. Angela is the one who double bills accounts, then "forgets" to charge the money back. Kosta is the one who sells the steroids out of his office and has the porn business on the side.

Check Better Business Bureau before giving these guys your credit card. Biggest weasels in the business.
