Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees. You'll miss them when they're gone.

Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't.

Maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't.

Maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary.

Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either.

Your choices are half chance. So are everybody else's.
Enjoy your body.

Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it.
It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.

Dance - even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room.

Get to know your parents. You never know when they'll be gone for good.

Be nice to your siblings. They're your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that friends come and go,
but with a precious few you should hold on.

Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle, because the older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard.

Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths:

Prices will rise. Politicians will philander. You, too, will get old.

And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble, and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.

Don't expect anyone else to support you.

Maybe you have a trust fund. Maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse. But you never know when either one might run out.

Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

mmmmmmm........ yeeeeeeaaahhhhh so anyway blank stare I was listening to the track number 3 again and by this time you would think I would have completely exhausted its effect but no.

what do you think about the Zech republic?

Why you ask?

I don’t know seems like the area might have that old Paris feel to it. Parts of Eastern Europe has its appeal since I have never been before; it would address my curiosity. Than again what if I go to Poland and work my way into Ziggy’s distant family and inherit the family longshoreman trade secrets.

CV I need more ideas!

well.

heres the latest.

I just came back from my first spot on this quest and yes met a really nice girl.

Puerto rico was interesting sorta...... blank stare

yes, yes a lot of attractive people. I guess they are a combo of black, Spanish and Indian over there. it kinda reminded me of brazil but Spanish speaking.

I was actually hard pressed to find as much of a cultural contrast as i would liked to have hoped. they have embraced so much of the American franchise that it just felt like a low grade America with nicer people.

my point being? I guess i'm just disappointed because part of this quest is to satisfy my craving for a significant other who can offer a different culture as well.

its nice when you meet someone and you get to learn about their interests but its more exciting when they have a different culture to become part of.

anyway.

I hit it off pretty well with her and could see myself with her……but I feel like im on an episode of deal or no deal. Do I continue? For someone I think fits a more cookie cutter image of what I want or stay?

The danceman quest is now over!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, after years have past from first posting this thread I have at last MET my soul mate!!!

I am now engaged to a wonderful Brazilian woman who I love dearly.

I want to thank all of you who wished me luck and are no longer members to CV because facebook

destroyed CV and too many lurkers and fake accounts.

I am now amble to retire the dance man capezio shoes in pursuit of new adventures with my future

wife.
