I wouldn't say I'm giving up on them... I have a few and that's more than enough. I will splurge on a nice purse (not bag) when I see one that is just screaming at me to take her home to a safe place. But I'm also going to New York in the new year so I think I should hang off until I get there to get a Gucci or Dior... tongue

Hey, can you fashionistas tell me where I can find this Coach bag?

I sprayed champagne all over it at my house (oops), and it kinda stained. I would like to replace it.

Crappy camera phone pic, it is leather and not canvas or whatever though, if you can't tell by the pic.

Cheers.

I think any bags that are littered with logos like that are really ugly. Not to mention I can think of 1000 other things to do with $400 than buy a purse.

Thanks Eskihoe.

I will assume that it is real. I thought I would be in way deeper than a $100 bucks.

I'd rather put $400 in my pocket than spend it on an ugly bag.

fair enough to everybody who's saying theyd rather put 400 in their pocket .... i love my purse and i wouldnt change it.... to me its def worth the money ...

id rather buy one nice purse that lasts me 10 years then buy 1 purse every 4 months from aldo thats 50 $ and falls apart at the end of the season

in the end its cheaper to buy better quality.. and thats one thing i can vouch for coach ... they have amazing quality purses eveyrthing i've bought from there has never fallen apart...

... that thought has crossed my mind a few times for different reasons.

If 400$ is a concern to you, then yeah, it probably is better in your pocket. You are not the target market for these products anyways.

Which pretty much makes your opinion completely useless in this thread.

Since when did saying I could think of better things to do with $400 translate it being a 'concern' to me? It's cool I'm being told to get out of a purse thread by a male, though....hows the fashion forum treating you?

To each their own, anyways. You choose what you want to spend your money on and I don't think it's fair for people to impose their domineering attitudes onto others.

I'm all for debates, but there isn't much to debate on this topic. Just haters who want to push their thoughts down someone elses' throats.

I would hardly say that I am hating because I threw my two cents in, or that my comments in this thread were in any way domineering. Are the people who posted bags other than the one in question 'hating' because they like different style bags?

As far as a bag goes... I actually just threw down $70 on a Burton backpack that I use as a backpack, purse, art bag, and throw my backcountry gear in when I snowboard. The last Burton bag I bought lasted me for 3 years and appealed to me for its diversity.

Wow, pretty sexist dontcha think?

And no one is kicking you out.....

More like calling you out as having a useless opinion in this thread, as it obviously does not appeal to you.

Go buy some granola.

CV purse threads are so predictable, nastiness abounds.

hilarious!

I just bought two purses last week from my gf who designs and makes them by hand. They're great and I paid $55 for both, not to mention felt fabulous about supporting a local artisan who is both talented and a good friend.

red_dragn, I think what everyone is trying to say is that the thread is about purses and people who like purses.

I am sure that there are things that you spend money on, that we would also say "i would never do that".
But the whole decision what to spend money on and what's better is very subjective.

The girl at work spent 700 on her video card. Seems like a waste me since they get cheaper and cheaper, but hey who am I to say what best to spend money on. So please respect what people like.
