Where is/was this place?

Perfect!!

Things I loved about it:

Reeeeeealy nice space: wicked equipment, nice rooms.
Free towel service, toiletries
Mom and pop feel to the place.
Wicked trainers - I loved my stern Polish bodybuilder trainer.
Funny crowd after work - strange ESL scene. I've never seen anything like it. unique, funny scene for a few hours.
Good location

maybe they should have tried to get just fitness working, then they could give beyond fitness a try.

are you serious it is closed? damn, i was going to go there tomorrow, what a surprise!

stranger: when that mini mall first opened, it was a completely different gym. i'm not surprised the first one closed. there was barely any lighting and it looked like there was no equipment. i remember the owners/managers opened a temporary location downstairs at street level and were showing people what they could get if they bought memberships. it looked shady.
they didn't last long and then beyond fitness took over. they seemed to be doing better, i would see more people there and there seemed to be better lighting and more equipment. it's too bad. it did look like a nice place.

rani: it might be busier because everyone is getting fit for their vacation somewhere warmer than here.
